Telangana: Activist attacks Osmania univ VC's car
Hyderabad, Feb 20: As Telangana heats up to the protest of the pro-Telangana activists, the car of the vice-chancellor of Osmania University was attacked by some of the activists on Saturday, Feb 20.
Starting off with 'Chalo Assembly' rally, the students got into heated argument with the police, who declared the rally as illegal and tried to stop them on Shivam Road near Vidyanagar.
In a separate incident, some of the pro-Telangana activists pelted stones at OU Vice-Chancellor T Tirupati Rao's car, who was not inside his car. The window panes of the vice-chancellor's were damaged in the incident.
Telangana Students Joint Action Committee and Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee had called for on Saturday, Feb 20 'Chalo Assembly' rally as a part of their agitation for separate Telangana.
The rally was joined by students of Osmania University along with Nizam College and City College students.
