Pakistani militant killed in J&K encounter
Jammu, Feb 20: In a fresh gun battle between the militants and the security forces, a Pakistani militant was killed and two Special Police Officers (SPOs) were wounded in Reasi district on Saturday, Feb 20, police said.
The incident took place when the Rashtriya Rifles troops retaliated the gun fires of the militants, after the troops cordoned off an area in Arnaf district, 130 kms from here, late Friday, Feb 19 night, following a tip-off.
A Pakistani militant Abu Bakr was killed in the encounter and an AK rifle and two grenades were recovered from him.
Meanwhile, two SPOs Ashraf and Murtaza too were injured in the incident.
