Pak, India must bridge gap to ensure regional peace: Zardari
Islamabad, Feb.19 (ANI): Pakistan and India should bridge the gap and return to the negotiating table to resolve of their bilateral issues meaningfully and ensure regional prosperity and peace, President Asif Ali Zardari said on Thursday.
He was talking to former US Deputy Secretary of State Richard L Armitage, who called on him at the Presidency, the Daily Times reports.
According to a press release, matters relating to the war on terror, Pak-US relations, mutual cooperation and the regional political situation were discussed during the meeting.
Zardari said that a peaceful, economically stable and vibrant Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan. (ANI)
