Josef Fritzl 'begs daughter for cash'
London, Feb 16 (ANI): Josef Fritzl, who's serving a life sentence for raping the daughter he held prisoner in a cellar for 24 years, has been writing letters to her begging for cash.
According to reports, the 74-year-old Austrian is bombarding Elisabeth, 43, with pleading notes asking for money "to study to be a lawyer so I can defend myself", reports The Sun.
Elisabeth suffered more than 3,000 rapes at his hands and bore him seven children.
In some of the notes he asks for 3,500 pounds to "get me started". Elisabeth never replies.
Christine, Fritzl's sister-in-law, revealed details of the letters, in which he complains: "I can't even get a Cola."
Fritzl still longs for his wife, Rosemarie, 70, Christine added.
Christine said: "Josef dreams all the time of a future with his wife but she will not have anything further to do with him. She doesn't love him anymore and has changed her name." (ANI)
