Fur shoes sales pick up in Kashmir Valley
Srinagar, Feb 16 (ANI): Due to severe cold, sale of winter shoes, which is known as "Fur Shoes" are increasing and locals are purchasing them in large number to protect their feet from harsh weather conditions in Kashmir Valley.
Chilly weather conditions, snowfall in the mountains and incessant rain have made the temperatures dip sharply, making people reach for the fur shoes that keep their feet warm.he boom is expected to last till March when the weather turns warmer.
"Fur shoes are very comfortable to wear, especially in this cold weather. They keep our feet warm. I prefer to wear these fur shoes, as they keep me warm," said Rizwan Khan, a customer.
"We try to buy warm things, whether it's a jacket, shoe or trousers. We prefer to buy fur shoes as they keep the feet warm and if the feet are warm than the whole body is protected from the cold weather." said Mukhtar Ahmed, another customer.
Fur shoes are very comfortable and warm and help to beat the winter chill of the valley. (ANI)
