Hyderabad, Feb 15: The customary address of Governor to the joint session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature was marked by slogans from the agitated Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members, demanding separate Telangana on Monday, Feb 15.

Just as Governor ESL Narasimhan began his address, the ruling Congress members stood up with placards on the hand shouting "We want separate Telangana state".

Some of the MLAs of TDP too joined the "Jai Telangana" slogans which continued for a minute before the members from both the parties where asked to resume their seats.

Governor's reference to the government schemes were received with howls of protest from the TDP members and some Congress members disrupted the Governor's address midway by raising the “Jai Telangana" slogans again.
