Centre assures security for BJP's Indore meet
New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): The Union Government on Monday assured to provide whatever support needed by the Madhya Pradesh Government to ensure a foolproof protection for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national executive meeting.
The BJP is scheduled to hold its national executive meeting in Indore from February 17 to 19.
"BJP national executive in Indore will have fool-proof security arrangements. Yesterday's terror alert issued by the Ministry will cover the delegates and the venue," sources said.
On Sunday, Union Home Ministry issued a fresh advisory putting Delhi, Indore and Kanpur on high alert after Pune bomb blast, which occurred on February 13.
Senior BJP leaders like L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, besides party president Nitin Gadkari will take part in the three-day conclave. (ANI)
