High alert sounded in Delhi, Indore, Kanpur
New Delhi, Feb 14: A high alert has been sounded in Delhi, Indore and Kanpur on Sunday, Feb 14.
The Home Ministry issued a general advisory to all states to step up security following the bomb blast in Pune on Saturday evening, Feb 13.
The alerts were issued following an emergency review meeting called by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.
According to reports, Chidambaram is reported to have reviewed the security situation with the heads of intelligence agencies.
Chidambaram had ruled out intelligence failure as the reason behind the blast.
Nine people were killed and 57 others were injured after a blast ripped through the popular German Bakery in Pune.
