Accidental firing in wedding kills youth in UP

Ghaziabad, Feb 13: A youth was killed in accidentally firing during a wedding celebration which turned fatal, on Friday, Feb 12.

The victim identified as Phool Kumar, a cousin of the bride, fell prey to the bullet which was fired during the garlanding ceremony, police said.

Police said that Kumar, who was rushed to the hospital after the incident was pronounced death on arrival.

Issuing a directive to people wedding organizers and those attending it to abstain from using fire arms during such functions, the SSP has warned of canceling the license of violating the rules.
