Srinagar, Feb 11: Three more Indian soldiers have been killed in a series of avalanches in Jammu Kashmir on Thursday, Feb 11.

An army spokesman said that the death toll in the snow-hit region has gone up to 21 in the past four days.

"The avalanches hit an army post and a base camp in Siachen killing three soldiers," army spokesman JS Brar said in Srinagar.

On Feb 8, 17 army personnel were killed when an avalanche slammed into a group of 70 combat troops at a high-altitude warfare training camp near Kashmir's main ski resort of Gulmarg.
