New Delhi, Feb 10: Thousands of BJP supporters on Wednesday, Feb 10, took to the streets in New Delhi to protest against price rise.
Party's supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar in large numbers with flags and posters to protest alleged government apathy towards rising prices of essential commodities.
BJP president Nitin Gadkari said, "The party will intensify the fight against UPA on the issue with a gherao of Parliament on Feb 22 when the budget session starts."
The party chief said, "Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar are responsible for the price rise situation."
