Arindham Chaudhari under Sena fire for backing SRK

Mumbai, Feb 9: Shiv Sena hit list keep getting bigger as Arindam Chaudhari has now come under attack for supporting Shahrukh Khan and also calling for a union territory status for Mumbai.

In an editorial piece in The Sunday Indian, Chaudhari, the editor-in-chief, wrote, "Hats off to Shah Rukh Khan for standing his ground! It's now time to end this hooliganism once and for all and make Mumbai a union territory!"

Sena, which has taken offense to this remark, accused Chaudhari insulting "Maharashtra by spewing such venom."

The party mouthpiece, Saamna added that the the magazine editor and management guru deliberately referred to Mumbai as 'Bombay' in a recent TV interview to anger Sena.

The party has already waged weeks-long war against the Bollywood actor SRK for his 'pro-Pakistan' stand on the inclusion of Pakistan cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This comes amid the reports of the party supremo Bal Thackeray lashing out at Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi for calling Mumbai 'Bombay' during his recent visit.
