'Sexting' allowed in China if it's consensual!
New Delhi, Feb 06 (ANI): The Supreme People's Court in China has clarified that people can "sext" each other if it is consensual.
An official explained that crackdown on mobile phone pornography aimed to curb explicit content targeting the public.
Hu Yunteng, director of the Court's research center, said: "There is no victim as long as both of sender and receiver like it."
Also, Chen Guoiqing, director of the research center of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, said the law punishes those who spread pornography "in public" and "in serious cases".
He specified that the "serious cases" referred to a large quantity of texting and receivers, reports the China Daily.
An earlier report said Guangdong would ban cell phones that send more than 300 lewd messages. (ANI)
