Telangana row: Duggal holds talks with Chidambaram, Pillai
New Delhi, Feb 4 (ANI): Member Secretary of the Telangana Committee V.K. Duggal, held talks with Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram and Home Secretary G K Pillai here on Thursday.
This was their first meeting after the Committee was formed.
The meeting discussed terms of reference of the committee, sources said.
Duggal is expected to leave for Mumbai later in the day to meet with Justice B N Srikrishna who has been nominated as the chairman of the committee. He will apprise him of details of the meeting.
On Wednesday, the Union Government announced a five-member Telangana panel.
"The terms of reference are being drafted and will be finalized in consultation with the Chairman and announced shortly," the Home Ministry had said
No political party in Andhra Pradesh has reacted to the formation of the committee as yet. (ANI)
