Major fire at Hyderabad hospital, 30 injured

Hyderabad, Feb 2: According to latest reports, at least 30 people have injured after fire broke out in Park hospital, police said.

The injured include patients, nurses and other hospital staff.

The police officer said eight patients were rescued from the Intensive Care Unit.

Major fire at Hyderabad hospital

A major fire broke out on Tuesday, Feb 2, at a hospital in Hyderabad.

According to reports, many patients and their relatives are believed to be trapped inside the super-speciality Park Hospital.

Fire engines and rescue teams had been rushed to the hospital.

Around six doctors and four patients have been injured but not critical.

"The flames had been brought under control. The priority was to ensure that all those inside the hospital were rescued," a fire officer said.

The short-circuit was suspected to have led to eruption of fire.
