Russian rape case: Police release suspect's photo

Panaji, Jan 28: Goa police has released the picture of the suspect involved in the rape of a nine-year-old Russian girl.

The photograph was released this afternoon on Jan 28, by Superintendent of Police (North) Bosco George.

The suspect was also identified by police as a man from Uttar Pradesh working for a local pharma firm.

Speaking to reporters, George said, "I do not want to comment anything right now. We will issue this photograph to all the police stations, railway stations, airport and border posts."

The nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped inside the water by the accused on Jan 26 at Arambol beach, 35 kms from here.

The Russian mother described the accused as tall, 30-year-old square faced, having big round eyes and a white spot on the upper lip.
