Islamabad, Jan 28: In an unending series of bomb attacks, four people were killed and sixteen others were injured, after a bomb rigged to cycle went off in south-western Pakistani town on Thursday, Jan 28, police said.

The mishap occurred in the Sohbatpur market in Balochistan, Pakistan's most violence hit province.

"It"s simply terrorism as the public was the target," local police chief Fareed Ali Shah said, who had also survived a roadside bombing near Dera Allah Yar on Tuesday, Jan 26.

Though no groups have claimed responsibility of the attack, the hand of ethnic Baloch separatists is suspected behind the mishap.

Meanwhile, police said that three people were wounded in a separate attack on NATO convoy of three tractor-trailers loaded with trucks by suspected Islamist militants.

The pre-dawn attack occurred on a main road in Karachi"s SITE industrial neighborhood, immediately after the vehicles were on its to the Afghan city of Kandahar, with their cargo of trucks which was headed towards the Western troops deployed in Afghanistan.

"Two gunmen on a motorcycle first lobbed a hand grenade and later fired shots at the trailers. Two drivers and one assistant suffered wounds. However, they were in stable condition," local police officer Shahid Chaudhry said.
