Anti Terrorist Squad arrests 'fake' Salman Khan
Surat, Jan 28: A youngster has been arrested for posing as Salman Khan and decieving the Bollywood hero's fans into giving donations through a fake website.
Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) officials, who netted the culprit identified as Intakhawab Alam, said that he used to reply to fans and keep the website updated.
Alam was arrested on Tuesday, Jan 26 from Rander.
"To make his website look realistic, he created a separate web-page 'I love my fans' and 'This is my mobile number'. He even talked with his fans on phone," ATS member G L Singhal said.
Alam, who created a website under the name of Salman Khan, used to ask the fans to comment and write opinions on the articles posted on the site.
