Arms and ammunition seized in Kashmir

Bhowani (J-K), Jan 25 (ANI): Ahead of the country's Republic Day, Jammu and Kashmir police seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition here on Sunday.

Acting on a tip off, the police launched a search operation and busted a hideout in the Bhowani forest area of Nowshera town of the state.

"We got information that they have hidden away some arms and ammunition which they might use to spread terror. So we launched a specific operation last night," said Ramesh Kumar Bhatt, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Nowshera. (ANI)
