Two held for attack on Indian in Brisbane

Melbourne, Jan 23: Two youngsters have been arrested in connection with the attack on an Indian in Brisbane.

The Australian police, which has arrested and charged a 15-year-old and a 20-year-old with 'actual violence', is still on the look out of another assailant, who accompanied them.

The three suspects allegedly attacked the Indian on Thursday, Jan 21 night, when he was using a telephone box in Macgregor.

The Indian, whose name has not been revealed, was punched to the side of his head and robbed of his wallet.

While the teenager would be dealt with under the Juvenile Justice Act, the 20-year-old Macgregor youth was due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court shortly, the police informed.
