JK: Gunbattle between security forces, militants
Srinagar, Jan 23: A gun battle between security forces and militants in the Jammu Kashmir's Kulgam district, which started on Friday, Jan 22 evening, is still on.
The militants are reportedly holed up inside a house located in village Rampora-Qaimoh, 80 kms from Srinagar.
Police along with other security forces were acting on specific inputs informing them about three militants hiding inside the house, when they cordoned off the village on Friday, Jan 22.
The fight has been on since then and reports suggest that the operations have been intensified.
