Haiti rescue: Man survives drinking his urine

Port-au-Prince, Jan 23: In another miracle rescue in Haiti, a 21-year-old man was pulled out alive from the rubbles of his bedroom by the Israeli search team.

The severely dehydrated Emmannuel Buso, said that his mother took him for a corpse when he was rescued and said that he survived by drinking his urine and spend his time dreaming about of his mother.

He added that he believed that he was actually dead and he spent most of his time in a listless daze.

"I am here today because God wants it," Buso said.

Doctors at Israeli Defense Forces field hospital near Haiti's main airports where Buso is being attended said that he was in considerably good shape and was expected to fully recovery.

In another rescue incident, an 84-year-old woman was rescued from the wreckage of her home.

Doctors attending her said that she is in a critical condition and is being administered oxygen and intravenous fluids at the General Hospital.

International rescue crews have rescued over 125 people after 7.0-magnitude earthquake rocked Haiti, European Commission said.
