Pak blast: one killed, 22 wounded

Islamabad, Jan 21: Blast rocked Pakistan once again in which one woman was killed and 22 others wounded on Thursday, Jan 21 in a remote area of Pakistan's restive Bajaur tribal region.

The incident took place when the vehicle in which they were travelling was targeted with improvised explosive device in Ghakay area of Bajaur Agency near the Afghanistan border.

Syed Badshah, a doctor at the state-run hospital in Khar informed that the body of of a woman and 22 injured had been brought for treatment.

He added that three of the victims were in critical condition.

Bajaur Agency is one of the region where the Pakistan Army offensive was conducted against the Taliban.
