Noida techie commits suicide over love life
Noida, Jan 21: A hitch in his love life led a techie to do himself in, police said on Wednesday, Jan 20.
Kunal Verma committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his bedroom at his sector-71 residence here on Tuesday, Jan 19 night.
The police learned the motive behind the suicide from the brother of the deceased, Avinash.
Avinash revealed that Kunal was upset after visiting his girl-friend in Agra a few days ago.
The techie then locked himself in the room and committed suicide. When the brother broke in and found him dead, he called the police.
This disturbing news comes amid the increased number of suicides being reported across the country. While Maharashtra student suicides has left the government worried, two techies ended their lives in Bangalore over the past few days.
