Ex-boyfriend held for Brit Indian teen's murder

London, Jan. 21 (ANI): Police in Reading, Berkshire (UK) have arrested a nineteen-year-old former boyfriend of a Brit Indian teenager, who was murdered earlier this week.

Sunil Bhardwaj was being quizzed last night over the horrific murder of pretty sixth-former Asha Muneer, reports The Sun.

Forensic teams sealed off Bhardwaj's house, days after he had battered, stabbed and slashed Asha's jugular vein on a river towpath. olice revealed that they had been called to end a bust-up between Asha and Sunil six months ago.

They said the cops left after he was "given advice".

Asha, who worked part-time at a Laura Ashley shop, was walking to meet fellow students at McDonald's when she was killed. (ANI)
