Fernandes being treated at Ramdev's ashram
Haridwar, Jan 19: Former Defence Minister George Fernades' family has moved him to Yoga Guru Ramdev's ashram in Haridwar for treatment.
Fernades is suffering from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
He was brought here from Delhi by his estranged wife Leila Kabir and some close associates of the veteran socialist leader.
Ashram's General Secretary Acharya Balakrishna said, "Fernades is under ayurvedic medication at the Patanjali Yogpeeth for past four days."
"He will stay in the Ashram for some more days," Acharya Balakrishna said.
Fernandes was in the midst of a battle between his brothers and companion Jaya Jaitley on one side, and Kabir and their son Sean, on the other over his assets.
