Al Qaeda terrorist held in Bihar

Patna, Jan 19: Suspected al Qaeda terrorist was arrested near Patna on Tuesday, Jan 19, a senior police official said.

ADG (HQ), U S Dutt said, "Police raided a house in Purnia town and captured Gulam Rasool alias Mirza along with his Pakistani passport.

According to Dutt, during interrogation Mirza had confessed that he had worked for Al Qaeda between 2004 and 2005.

Mirza was planning to sneak into Bangladesh through the Indo-Bangla border in Purnia district, the ADG said.
