Maoists blow up raliway track in Bihar
Jehanabad, Jan 18: Demanding the immediate production of their arrested leader in a court, railway track near Nadaul station in Jehanabad district of Bihar were blasted by Maoists on Jan 18 .
The attack led to the disruption of railway traffic on the Patna-Jehanabad-Gaya section for several hours.
According to police, 50 armed Maoists barged into the southern cabin of the station at around 2 am and asked the railway employees to vacate the room.
The pamphlet left by the ultras demanded the immediate production of their leader Divendu Kumar Singh alias Subodh alias Anand in a court.
Police said that Singh was arrested with rupees 18 lakh by the special task force of Bihar police on Friday, Jan 15.
