Decomposed bodies of 2 Indians found in Fiji

New Delhi, Jan 18: The decomposed bodies of two Indians businessmen were found in pit toilet in Fiji on Saturday, Jan 16.

In another report, it has been said the bodies were found in two suitcases buried in a farmland in the capital of Suva early on Sunday, Jan 17.

Two locals have been taken to custody by the Fiji Police for questioning.

The deceased identified as 41-year-old Ramakrishnan Amirthalingam and 36-year-old Rajamanickam Venkatachalam were reported missing since Dec 14.

On contacting the company manager, their families in Tamil Nadu where informed that the duo had failed to return from their trip to Vista Island.

Suspecting foul play, the families requested the company to lodge a police complaint.

Neighbors of the duo in Mead Road informed that prior to their missing, six men had visited the victims.

So far, the police has not released the post-mortem examination report.

Cremation of the two will take place in Fiji and the ashes will be sent to India, Reports from Fiji said.

The two Indians, working in Blue Waves Pvt Ltd, were involved in exporting scrap metal to India for two years for the .
