AP: 2-yr-old falls in borewell; rescue efforts on
Warangal, Jan 18 : A two-year-old boy fell into a borewell in Warangal district in Andhra Pradesh.
The victim, identified as Darawath Mahesh, fell into the 30 feet borewell in an agricultural field around 4:30 pm on Sunday, Jan 17.
Since then, efforts were on to pull out Darawath from the borewell in Chandru Tanda village.
The rescuers heard the boy crying on Sunday, Jan 17, but there has been complete silence from the borewell on Monday morning, Jan 18.
According to reports, the well belongs to his parents and it was dug around four months ago.
Authorities have blamed the parents for the accident, reports added.
"Oxygen is being continuously supplied to the pit," said JP Acharya, a member of the rescue team.
