Security personnel killed in PoK 'suicide' attack

Muzaffarabad, Jan.16: At least one security personnel was killed when a vehicle of the security forces was ambushed by the extremists in Rawalkot area of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Saturday.

Confirming the attack, SSP Rawalkot, Sajjad Hussain said the security forces' vehicle was attacked in Dothan, situated 15 kilometers away from Rawalkot.

Hussain said a security personnel was killed and some others sustained injuries in the blast.

All the injured persons have been admitted to the to Central Military Hospital (CMH), The News reports.

While investigating agencies are still ascertaining the nature of the blast, Hussain said it was a suicide attack. (ANI)
