Oz attacks: Govt monitoring on a daily basis
New Delhi, Jan 15: In response to BJP's criticism of inaction against the racial attacks on Indian students in Australia, the government said that the government was doing it best in making its displeasure known to Canberra.

She said that the latest attack on a cab driver on Friday, Jan 15, including the fire incident at Gurdwara was unfortunate and expressed hope that the officials will take appropriate action as promised.
“We can only hope that Australia gets its act together like they are telling us and brings the perpetrators to book," Kaur said.
She informed that the the government was trying to collect details on the Gurdwara attack on Thursday, Jan 14.
Briefing on the steps taken by the government to deter Indians from going to Australia, Kaur said that an advisory has already been issued by the External Affairs Ministry.
