India to witness lunar eclipse on Dec 21
New Delhi, Jan 15: India which got the opportunity to witness the millennium's longest solar eclipse early in 2010, a total lunar eclipse waits to enthrall the country on Dec 21.
After the solar eclipse on Friday, Jan 15, there will be three more eclipses during the year 2010, B G Siddharth, Director, Birla Science Centre informed a news agency.
Besides the total lunar eclipse in Dec 2010, there would be a partial eclipse of the moon on Jun 26.
He added that a total solar eclipse will occur on Jul 11, 2010. However, this eclipse will not be visible from India.
