Floor collapses at Swedish Weight Watchers clinic when dieters gather

London, January 15 (ANI): The floor of a Weight Watchers clinic in Sweden collapsed when 20 members of the weight loss programme assembled for a meeting.

The dieters had gathered to check their weights in the clinic in Vaxjo, in south-central Sweden, when suddenly the floor beneath them started falling apart, according to The Local, Sweden's English-language newspaper.

"We suddenly heard a huge thud; we almost thought it was an earthquake and everything flew up in the air," the Telegraph quoted a Weight Watchers participant as telling the Smalandsposten newspaper.

The participant added: "The floor collapsed in one corner of the room and along the walls."

However, no one was injured in the incident.

Later, the participants moved the scales to the corridor and checked their weights. (ANI)
