Class XI student commits suicide in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 15: A class XI student committed suicide in Mumbai on Thursday evening, Jan 14 in Matunga, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Shivani S, a student of SIES college.

Shivangi jumped from the terrace of a five-storeyed Amarvilla building late on Thursday evening, Jan 14.

According to police, she was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.

No suicide note was found with her and the reason for the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately, they said.
