Internet game proves women really are brainier than men
London, Jan 14 (ANI): While women always insist that they are more brainy than men, a new Internet game is now giving them a chance to prove it once and for all.
Over the past three months, millions of men and women across the world have being taking part in an Internet version of the popular board game Trivial Pursuit.
And women's team seems to be taking the early lead.
Both men's and women's teams' positions are changing on a daily basis, with the fairer sex currently 10,000 ahead.
"Boys versus girls is the oldest battle of all time," the Daily Express quoted sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher as saying.
"This is a great way to reveal how much you actually know and reveal your inner genius. Of course, girls are most likely to win... bring it on boys," Gallacher added.
Since the game launched at trivialpursuitexperiment.com last October, more than 11 million questions have been put to male and female players in nine languages.
History questions have been the most popular, chosen by 21 per cent of players, followed by science and nature and entertainment. Arts and literature questions are the least popular, chosen by just 11 per cent.
"The score is so close at the moment that every correct answer counts," said Katreena Lines, marketing manager of Trivial Pursuit. (ANI)
