Robbers rob 44 bullets from police armoury
Dahod, Jan 13: A gang of robbers broke into a police armoury and ran way with the bullets locked inside the room. One policeman was hurt in the incident.
Police said that the incident occured in the guard room which is close to the deputy superintendent of police's office in Limkheda.
The room is a store house of weapons and ammunitions which are seized or recovered.
Robbers fled with 44 bullets of .303 rifle as they broke into the room after pelting stones at the guard, police said.
They informed that Amar Singh Chauhan, the injured policeman guard is hospitalized, adding that a complain against 20-25 unknown people has been lodged.
Stating that the investigation into the matter is going on, police said that the missing items are being identified.
