MP: 'Obscene' spa hoarding angers CM Chauhan
Bhopal, Jan 13: Taking moral policing in the country to a whole new level, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan raised a storm over a spa hoarding on Tuesday, Jan 12.
According to media reports, Chauhan not only got the 'obscene' and the 'indecent' hoarding removed but also blasted Bhopal Municipal Corporation commissioner Manish Singh over phone.
"I will not allow such obscenity in front of a college for our daughters," the CM said after spotting the hoarding while passing by a prominent girls" college, reports The Telegraph.
The hoarding which advertised 'Spa Treat Chocolate Massage Rs 500' was put up by Nikki Bawa, a beautician.
An FIR has been filed against Bawa.
"He has a keen eye. We stand corrected and apologise for hurting his sensibilities," Bawa is quoted as saying in the report.
