Light showers intensify cold wave in New Delhi
New Delhi, Jan 13: The national capital continues to suffer the harsh cold wave, which was intensified in the night due to light showers.
New Delhi received 4.6 mm rainfall since Tuesday, Jan 12 night, the MeT officials informed.
On Wednesday, Jan 13, the minimum temperature rose slightly to at 8.1 degree Celsius as against Tuesday, Jan 12 minimum of 7 degree Celsius.
As per official estimates, the minimum temperature is expected to dip below seven on Thursday, Jan 14, while the maximum is expected to hover around 15 degree Celsius.
The winds blowing from the mountains in the north are expected to sustain the cold wave in the capital for some more time.
