Italian ham leg, rubber bag among Prince Charles, Camilla's weird gifts

London, January 13 (ANI): A leg of Italian ham, a chocolate fondue set and a handbag made from recycled bottles are some of the gifts received by Prince Charles and his wife Camilla on their overseas tours last year.

As many as 265 items featured on the list published by Clarence House during the royals' tours of Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Italy, Germany, and Canada.he couple were also presented with matching BlackBerry Storm 9500s from the Premier of Ontario, Dalton McGuinty while the Pope gave them a framed print, a gold medal, and two papal rosaries in Rome.

The leg of dry cured ham, given to the Prince in Italy, ended up in the kitchen at his country mansion in Gloucestershire.

"It went down to Highgrove where it was eaten and enjoyed," the Daily Express quoted a spokeswoman as saying.

Other presents include a ceramic model of a bride and groom riding a bull from Brazil's foreign minister and a wild rubber bag, hat, satchel and handbag, and a wild rubber embroidered sheet during their stay in Brazil. (ANI)
