Antony dismisses reports on China's land incursion
New Delhi, Jan 13: Defence Minister A K Antony on Wednesday, Jan 13 dismissed reports on China's incursion of land along Line of Actual Control(LAC), stating that the India- China border remained unchanged.
"There is no change in the Line of Actual Control," Antony said.
Concerning his meeting with the army corps commander in Ladakh on Tuesday, Jan 12, Antony said that the only thing that has changed is perception.
"There is only a difference in perception," he told reporters.
The Defence Minister who met the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and administrative officials of the Ladakh Hill and Development Council said that he had advised them to monitor the situation in the state.
"I told them (the army and administrative officials) to study the situation in detail," Antony said.
Antony's statement came in the wake of reports on China grabbing land along the Line of Actual Control.
