Recording of Kasab's statement to resume on Jan 11
Mumbai, Jan 11: The special court will resume the recording of the statement of Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist in the Mumbai terror attacks under section 313 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) on Jan 11 .
Judge M L Tahaliyani had earlier put forward over 200 questions to Kasab, prior to the wrapping up of its trial by the prosecution.
The questions by the Tahaliyani were based on the evidences by over 600 witnesses, including Kasabs confessional statement recorded by the Metropolitan Magistrate under section 164 of CrPC.
The statement of the two co-accused Feheem Ansari and Sabauddin will be recorded by the court later on in the trial.
Earlier Kasab had retracted his confession stating that he was forced to admit his involvement in 26/11 terrorist attacks by prosecution.
Kasab claimed that he was an aspiring actor and was arrested 20 days before the Mumbai terror attacks, adding that the person captured on camera was his look-alike.
