US plane attack: Suspect pleads not guilty
Washington, Jan 9: Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian antional who was indicted in the foiled Christmas attack at the US plane has pleaded not guilty during his arraignment before the Michigan Court on six counts.
Appearing before magistrate Mark Randon, Abdulmutallab cited acknowledgement of the charges levelled against him.
Following which magistrate Mark Randon was asked to enter 'not guilty pleas' on all the six counts by federal defender Miriam Siefer.
Abdulmutallab was indicted on six counts on Jan 7 which carries a penalty of life imprisonment.
