Tehrik-e-Taliban deputy chief held in Pak
Islamabad, Jan 8: Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan deputy chief was arrested with explosives-laden vehicle by the police on Thursday, Jan 8.
Officials said that the Taliban commander, Israr Amin was planning to use the explosives for terrorist attack.
Acting on a tipped-off by by another suspect,the joint team of police and intelligence sleuths arrested Amin in Pakistan Town area of Islamabad.
Police said that the Taliban commander, who was involved in supplying stolen vehicles for Taliban logistics, is an expert in rigging vehicles with explosives for terror attacks.
Officials suspect vehicle which was to be handed to militants to attack sensitive installation in Rawalpindi or Islamabad may have camouflaged into army vehicle.
Amin's arrest have been confirmed by Deputy inspector general of police Bin Yamin.
The location for Amin's interrogation has not been revealed.
The brother of the Taliban commander is also in police custody, officials revealed.
