HC issues notice to ND Tiwari on paternity suit
New Delhi, Jan 8: The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to former Andhra Pradesh governor N D Tiwari after admitting the appeal of Rohit Shekhar.
Rohit Shekar claims that he is biological son of the veteran politician.
A bench comprising of Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah and Rajiv Sahai Endlaw issued notice to Tiwari to file his response against Rohit by the next hearing date on Feb 9.
Rohit had challenged the single bench order of Nov 2009 that had dismissed his paternity suit on ground of jurisdiction.
Last month, Tiwari had to quit the Hyderabad Raj Bhavan after allegations of his involvement in a sex romp even as he said he was resigning due to falling health.
