Few American parents think teenagers are having sex

Washington, January 08 (ANI): Very few parents of American teenagers think that their children are having sex.

A survey titled "Where America Stands" quizzed parents, of kids between age 9 and 17, on different issues concerning their children.

A total of just 22 percent admitted that their children were sexually active.

On the other hand, 75 percent insisted their kids stayed away from amorous behaviour, reports CBS News.

Also, just 35 percent parents feel their kids have tried "sexting," the act of sending or receiving explicit photographs via text message. (ANI)
