Probe report on Ruchika's expulsion submitted
Chandigarh, Jan 7: The inquiry report into the alleged expulsion of Ruchika Girhotra from the Sacred Heart School here was submitted to the Union Territory Administration.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Prerna Puri submitted her report to the Education Secretary Ram Niwas, who is also the Home Secretary of the Union Territory.
Speaking to reporters, Niwas said that the report would be submitted to Chandigarh Administrator S F Rodrigues, who is also the Punjab Governor.
"We will later make public the outcome of the inquiry. We will also make public the methodology adopted in finalising the report relating to the Sacred Heart School," he added.
The probe ordered by the Education Secretary Ram Niwas was initiated to ascertain the causes which led to the alleged expulsion of then 14-year-old Ruchika Girhotra from the school.
