Air India stowaway released
New Delhi, Jan 7: The Air India stowaway Habib Hussain, who hid in the flight's toilet to fly from Saudi Arabia to India, has been released.
Finding that Hussain was not a threat to the national security, a Jaipur court on Thursday, Jan 7, allowed him to return to his village in Uttar Pradesh.
25-year-old Hussain claims that he was being exploited by his employer and hid in the flight toilet out of desperation to escape Saudi Arabia and return home.
This, however, accounts for a major security lapse. The incident raised many questions on the airport security measures amid the increased terror threat across the world.
