Terror strikes Srinagar, gunbattle still on
Srinagar, Jan 6: A terror attack in the busy Lal Chowk area of Srinagar has left at least four people injured.
The terrorists reportedly hurled grenades and fired at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers on Wednesday, Jan 6.
Media reports suggest that the gunbattle between the security personnel and the guerrillas, who are holed up in a hotel nearby, is still on.
Two civilians, a camera-person of a news channel and a police constable were the four people injured in the attack.
The hotel has been cordoned off and senior police officers and CRPF personnel have been rushed to spot, where the country's first terror strike is still underway.
