Mumbai heritage building catches fire; no casualty
Mumbai, Jan 5: The heritage building at Fort area in South Mumbai caught fire on Tuesday, Jan 5.
Fire brigade officials said that mishap occurred around 12.30 am when the offices in the five storied building closed down for the day.
Eight fire engines and six water tankers were reportedly rushed to put out the fire which broke out in the ground floor of Ready Money Mansion building.
Officials said that the fire was doused after two hours.
While a short circuit is suspected to trigger the fire, officials are investigating the cause of the incident.
There has been casualty in the incident.
